The Gryphitti
The Gryphitti, Lutheran High School's school newspaper, is intended to inform and entertain the student body of LHS while maintaining journalistic and Christian integrity. Academically, the paper strives to encourage student responsibility by meeting deadlines and to develop student writing skills. The school newspaper is governed by the following guidelines:

1) Articles will be presented in an impartial, unbiased, and honest manner.
2) All material wll strive to be factual and accurate.
3) The following will not be printed: obscene language or implied obscenity or indecency; material that criticizes any race, religion, sex, or ethnic group; libelous or harmful material against LHS, its staff and faculty, or any of its students; libelous or harmful material against any person
4) As a publication of a Lutheran school, the newspaper will not print material that conflicts with Christian principles or the overall mission of Lutheran High
5) The faculty advisor has the right to edit or refuse publication of any story in order to comply with the newspaper policy and to promote the purpose of the newspaper.
6) Students will be removed from the newspaper staff for the current year if they break newspaper policy or fail to submit an assigned article two times during the course of the school year.
