Students in Mr. Brackvitch's English classes decorated swords using a word or phrase that they felt was a defining trait of heroism. This activity served as a segway from a unit on the Hero's Journey to a poetry unit on Poetic Heroes. Wonderful job, Gryphons! #CreativeGryphons Think Pink! What a way to end our return to the volleyball court in 2022! Volleyball players led chapel recently with a skit about the "Fruit of the Spirit" and then finished their day on the court! With fans cheering loudly from the stands, the Gryphons won an exciting match (3-1) over district opponent Varnado! Congratulations Coach Loughmiller and Lady Gryphons! #thinkpink2022 #beatcancer #GeauxGryphons Many thanks to Rachel Jackson with the University of Southern Mississippi, and to Gabrielle Ducote from Southeastern University for visiting with our juniors and seniors at lunch recently. Students learned about the many degree and career paths available at USM and Southeastern! #collegeboundGryphons |
