Lutheran High School’s 2024 Commencement was held at Williams Boulevard Baptist Church. At Lutheran High School (LHS) students are encouraged to Love, Honor and Serve others in their communities while using Christ as an example Kim Jovanovich, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Orleans and well known in the Lutheran community as a gifted organist and the director of an instrumental ensemble known as the Marigny Pops, addressed the graduates. He expanded on the Love, Honor, Serve theme by challenging the graduates to “Learn something new every day and to practice Humility. Combining all of these traits can lead to Success and you have the opportunity with hard work to BE ANYTHING YOU WANT TO BE,” said Jovanovich.
