Our 8th-grade class celebrated Student Council Week’s dress down “Twin Day” in style by taking their learning to the coast! They visited the historic Louisiana New Canal Lighthouse for an unforgettable field trip. Many thanks to the Pontchartrain Conservancy for leading an incredible hands-on workshop. Our students dove deep into the science of water quality and the challenges surrounding coastal land loss in Louisiana, while brainstorming real-world solutions. After the workshop, our 8th-grade Gryphons enjoyed a picnic by the lake to soak in the views of Lake Pontchartrain. Special thanks to the field trip advisors, Ms. Able and Mr. Scriber, for helping make this day of learning and fun possible! Comments are closed.
