Hats off to the Class of 2025! On Saturday, May 17th, Lutheran High School welcomed the Class of 2025 into our Gryphon alumni community at their graduation ceremony at Williams Boulevard Baptist Church. Lutheran High alum, Rachel Hurd (Valedictorian, Class of 1995), and current Chief Assistant District Attorney in New Orleans, urged our graduates to forge their own path and "Go into this world boldly. Be curious. Be kind. Be excellent in your work. And never forget that your value does not lie in your title, your GPA, or your bank account; your value is found in Christ Alone." LHS Salutatorian Haleema Ottallah reminded the Class of 2025 to trust in God and that "the future isn't something we inherit - it's something we achieve and build together." LHS Valedictorian Johandra Aquilles emphasized the importance of learning from challenges to find success and recognize that "you have the power to change the world around you and meet your goals no matter how difficult they may seem." Class of 2025, Congratulations! As you go on to the next chapter of your life, keep your class Bible verse in mind: "I can do all things through him who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13 #OnceaGryphonAlwaysaGryphon Comments are closed.
