Congratulations to LHS senior Johandra Aquiles for earning one of the Mystical Order of the Phoenix “Flames of the Future” Student Leadership Awards. This award is given to students whose school contributions are dedicated, long term, and impactful. The Mystical Order of the Phoenix scholarship recipients receive an award stipend in the amount of $1000, along with the ride of a lifetime, (throws included), in the Spartan Society 2025 Mardi Gras parade, Saturday, February 22, 2025. Scholarships were awarded at Martin Insurance on Sunday, January 26, 2025. Johandra and the other scholarship recipients were featured on WDSU TV! Congratulations to all!
