On Friday, March 3rd, students in Mr. Artiz's social studies and Spanish classes hosted a school-wide event, International Day! Students researched countries and shared information about their assigned country, food, costumes, and music. Students and faculty enjoyed marking their passports as they "traveled" around the world for International Day!
On Saturday, March 4th, sixteen District qualifying Gryphons, accompanied by Ms. Loughmiller and Mrs. Lagarde, rose early to travel to Baton Rouge and compete at the State Literary Rally held at Louisiana State University. More than 4000 District qualifying students from over 350 schools across Louisiana competed in the State Rally at LSU. Way to represent LHS, Gryphons!
