Grateful, Thankful, Blessed! Thursday was a day of Thanks! Students wore their new class level spirit shirts sponsored by our friends at Concordia High School. Pastor Nare reminded us to be thankful for our many blessings in Chapel, and members of the choir and Mr. Scriber shared their musical gifts with us. At lunch, members of Student Council, advised by Mrs. Lagarde, sponsored Thankful Thursday. Students and faculty wrote something they were thankful for on a paper feather and helped to create our Thankful Turkey! Students also received a Turkey shaped donut, and played a spirited game of "pin the feather on the turkey." We are Grateful and Thankful for all of our faculty, students, Gryphon families, and friends of Lutheran High! Blessings for a Happy Thanksgiving! #gratefulthankfulblessed #onceagryphonalwaysagryphon #luhighnola

Faculty, students, and family members gathered together in celebration of the Class of 2022 for their Ring Ceremony. Many thanks to Reverend Gregory Manning, Broadmoor Community Church for officiating, the First English Lutheran Church for hosting, and our own Ms. Mitzi Loughmiller for coordinating the celebratory event! The Lutheran High School Choir, under the direction of Mr. Adrian Scriber, performed the spiritual, "Take Me to the King". Congratulations, LHS Class of 2022! |
