Congratulations to the LHS Class of 2024! In May, we recognized these students as they received their class rings and were acknowledged as rising seniors! We look forward to the leadership they will offer next year! A special thanks to Reverend Aubrey Watson, Jr. of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, who blessed their rings and shared a special message with the class and their family members in attendance. Teacher Appreciation Week is always a great way to end the school year! Teachers and staff enjoyed door signs, snack day, lunch provided by the LHS Board of Directors, water bottles filled with favorite school supplies and breakfast served to them in their classrooms on Friday! Service Club, advised by Ms. Loughmiller, coordinated the breakfast and did the cooking! Bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes, biscuits, and fresh fruit were on the menu! Thanks to all of the LHS families that also brought treats during the week and/or contributed monetarily. Our Faculty and Staff truly felt appreciated! It was French Fry Friday at Lutheran High today courtesy of our amazing alumni cooking crew! Students and faculty enjoyed fresh French fries, and either chicken strips or fish strips, and a choice of water or soda. The juniors were so excited they formed a conga line to get their special lunch. We are blessed! Special thanks to Bruce Growden, Kathy and Steve Koester, Warren Blackwell, and one our newest alums, Jarmail Perry! Student representatives presented our LuHigh cooking crew with a card signed by our appreciative students! #onceaGryphonalwaysaGryphon |
