Junior students, accompanied by Mrs. Lagarde and Mr. Scriber, toured Nicholls State University and learned more about college life, degree and career tracks, and the college application process. After experiencing the campus lunch program, students were treated to a VIP interactive tour of the mass communications department. Students participated in a mock news show, went on air at the campus radio station, and learned more about careers in journalism, broadcasting, photography, multimedia, and publications. Our visit culminated with the opportunity to fly a specialized drone. Many thanks to our fabulous campus admissions tour guide, Kirsten Hill, and Makerspace lab Director Johnson, for the wonderful tour. Special thanks to Dr. Stewart, Professor Arnold, and the Nicholls communications students for making our campus visit so memorable! #collegeboundgryphons #NichollsStateUniversity Comments are closed.
