Early morning on Saturday, February 24th, 36 Lutheran High students, accompanied by Mrs. Lagarde and Ms. Loughmiller, traveled to Southeastern University in Hammond to compete in the Louisiana District Literary Rally. Students took academic tests in specific subjects and competed with other New Orleans area schools in our division. Art students entered artworks in specific categories and were judged against all participating New Orleans schools within that category. All enjoyed the Rock-N-Roar event sponsored by Southeastern University which included food booths, face painting, games, activities, and informative booths detailing the many academic and social aspects of college life. While academic scores are not yet official, four art students placed in their individual art competition categories at the District level! Congratulations to all of our students for representing us so well at Southeastern today. #GryphonPride #WeAreLuHigh Comments are closed.
