National Lutheran Schools Week Celebration

2023 National Lutheran Schools Week (NLSW) - Making Disciples for Life (Matthew 28:18-20). What a great theme for LHS where we teach our students to Love, Honor and Serve! Our celebration of Lutheran education included a chapel skit performed by the Service Club, NLSW crosses colored and shared with the members of First English Lutheran Church, daily fun with disciple trivia and "Where's a disciple?" We concluded our celebration just before Mardi Gras with a special lunch of tacos/nachos and an afternoon of "team building games" that included some friendly competition between classes! Many thanks to Ms. Loughmiller and the Service Club for coordinating the festivities!
